Dr. Ebony has a history of community engagement as a leader, facilitator and advocate.

As a trusted voice, she addresses the influence of race on identity development, emotional and mental health functioning, and relationship quality within Black communities globally. She provides training for PreK-12 educators and administration, college academic advisors, students, leadership and frontline law enforcement, religious leaders and churchgoers, and families. She uses a combination of lecture, group exercises and tension-building techniques to ensure participants achieve an understanding of the content, knowledge of ways to apply the material, and an increased level of self, other, and environmental awareness with the goal of addressing inequities and improving communities.
